Director of Operations
Kimberly is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). She graduated from The Ohio State University with an honors distinction in research and then earned her master’s degree in social work. Kimberly specializes in chemical dependency treatment and has worked as both a counselor and administrator. Her area of clinical expertise is cognitive behavioral therapy, but she has most recently focused on management and administration. Kimberly joined Cornerstone of Recovery in 2012 as Program Director and now serves as Director of Ohio Operations.
Sarah graduated from The University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and obtained her master’s degree in social work at The Ohio State University. She is independently licensed as both a mental health professional (LISW-S) and Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). Sarah joined Cornerstone of Recovery in 2012 and currently facilitates the morning Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and the Women’s Continuous Care. In addition to her clinical roles, she also serves as the reporting agent for the Impaired Professional’s Aftercare program.
Leslie is independently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Clinical Social Worker (LISW-S) and Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC-CS). She holds international certifications as an alcohol and drug counselor and clinical supervisor. Leslie joined the staff at Cornerstone of Recovery in 2013, bringing more than 25 years of experience as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Leslie also has a small private practice and is a volunteer with a number of social service agencies.
Adam obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University, and obtained his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Kent State University with a focus on assessment. He is licensed as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) in the state of Ohio. Adam joined Cornerstone of Recovery in 2017. He currently facilitates the Continuous Care group and he fills in for the Intensive Outpatient Groups (when needed). In addition to facilitating groups, Adam conducts assessments and admissions at Cornerstone of Recovery.
Sally is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) and has a master’s degree in counseling ministries (MACM) from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio; her focus was addiction counseling. Sally also has a BS degree in communications from Ohio University. She has been with Cornerstone of Recovery since 2011. Sally conducts family therapy sessions and facilitates Cornerstone’s Family Education, Adult Education, and evening Intensive Outpatient programs.
Micah was born and raised in Akron, OH (born in the same hospital as Lebron James and Stephen Curry). Micah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kent State University in 2016. As a student at Kent State, Micah assisted in psychological assessment research for three years. In addition, he completed research assistant internships at both Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Center for Biobehavioral Health and Duke University’s Center for Cognitive Neuroscience. Prior to joining the staff at Cornerstone of Recovery’s Ohio office, Micah worked as a residential counselor at our inpatient facility in Knoxville, TN where he developed treatment plans, facilitated progress groups, and co-facilitated the impaired professionals relapse prevention groups. Micah is now an Assessment and Admissions Counselor for Ohio’s Intensive Outpatient Program.
