Treating Addiction in Healthcare Professionals
We developed our addiction treatment for Healthcare Professionals to help medical professionals not only overcome chemical dependency issues but also to provide support and advocacy for their re-entry into professional practice. Our experienced staff includes addictionologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and master’s level counselors who facilitate personalized therapeutic schedules for each patient.

Our Evaluation Process for Healthcare Professionals
Before being admitted to our program, healthcare professionals receive a specialized evaluation in a comfortable, supervised setting. Effective at diagnosing substance use and psychiatric disorders, this 3 to 7 day evaluation includes several components designed to determine if treatment is necessary.
Our Evaluation Process Includes:
- Complete medical exam
- Psychosocial & occupational assessments
- Drug screens
- Interviews with family, employer, or professional board (if referring entity)
- Psychological testing
- Medically-supervised detox (when required)
When the evaluation is complete, each patient reviews the findings with a specialized team of healthcare professionals. If treatment is recommended, this team collaborates with the patient to develop a custom plan that meets their needs and professional requirements.
Returning To Work
When a patient is near completion of their residential stay, their treatment team evaluates their commitment to their recovery and ability to perform the work required of them. After approving the patients’ efforts, Cornerstone will advocate for their return to work and ensure the proper steps are taken to have their license reinstated.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment
From group and individual therapy sessions to PHP to IOP, Cornerstone offers Outpatient Addiction Treatment Programs at every level. We provide convenient morning and evening outpatient sessions, helping you stay engaged at home and work while participating in treatment.
Cornerstone Alumni Community
The Cornerstone Alumni Program offers support and fellowship through a strong community of peers in recovery, helping to bridge the gap between treatment and a rewarding life of sobriety with resources, advocacy, and opportunities for social connection.
Aftercare Program & Recovery Coaching
You will have the opportunity to participate in support groups led by a dedicated Cornerstone facilitator for up to two years after successfully completing your treatment program.
